SAMURA KAMARA AND ENTOURAGE IN THE U.S.  TODAY  By Kabs Kanu When he lands in New York tomorrow, the All People’s Congress ( APC ) flagbearer Dr. Samura Kamara will get a taste of the popular support he enjoys as he will be given a massive welcome by Sierra Leoneans desiring a change in the country via the 2023 General Elections to be held in June. Dr. Samura Kamara, accompanied by a  hefty delegation of party big wigs, is arriving at the JFK International Airport in New York tomorrow. In the delegation is expected to be the Deputy APC Chairman Hon. Osman Yansaneh and lead defence attorney for Dr. Kamara, Lawyer Frank Kargbo. According to reports, the trip is in connection with the Sierra Leone New York United Nations Permanent Mission Chancery court case .  People think because you are modest you lack ambition. They somehow make a ludicrous correlation that because they undervalue you, you do not know your worth. I do a lot of things for free, not because I come cheap, but because as I grow older I have lost interest in riches. I want to invest in wealth. People. Relationships. Connections.  Do not get me wrong, I have use for money. I love playing with it sometimes. When I withdraw my salary from the bank I stack the notes serially. I go off on a whim once in a while, treat myself to expensive things.  But I always come home to my people. My favourite humans. With the economy today, how much of my stack can I really give away anyway. It probably was not enough to start with.  So I give my time. My effort. My skills. My knowledge. The best parts of me. It is up to you to make me feel it was worth it.  I will know if you don't. I probably will not like it. And you will know.
